Lucidity

Our newest free pattern! Lucidity is a square shawl knitted in the round or a triangle shawl knitted flat. Both options are included in the pattern. The shawls are both quite large, but can be easily adjusted by making fewer (or more!) repeats.
The recommended yarn is Hedgehog Fibres Blue Faced Lace, you’ll need 2 skeins for a square and one skein for a triangle.

I love our Blue Faced Lace, it may seem rustic when it is in the skein, but knitted up, it transforms into a lofty, cushy fabric that has incredible strength and warmth. It will be truly an heirloom, as the yarn is durable and wears really well. Did you ever knit a shawl out of the softest merino, only to see it pill within couple of wears? Try this yarn. It’s not the softest thing ever, but it really makes up for it with the truly wooly feel and durability.
Pictured in ‘Wish’ colourway.

Or spin your own! I’ve included notes on spinning singles and fulling your singles to make them more stable. You can do a gradient or not, ply or not ply your yarn, use a thicker yarn and make a blanket, the options are endless!

I have used this yarn, from a club braid. I’m loving the colours.

The pattern is available free to download from the shop or through Ravelry
