Fringed

Yep, it’s huge.
Pattern: Fringed, by Stephen West.
Yarn: Hedgehog Fibres Merino Singles in Where’s my Bike (Westknits exclusive), minty green potluck seconds and Graphite. Also one skein of Hedgehog Fibres Kidsilk Lace in Jelly (which is only the best colour ever).

I may had a thicker yarn and I may be a very loose-gauge knitter, but damn this thing is massive. It did NOT look this big while it was on the needles, I would have made it one repeat smaller.

How does one get the fringe even(ish)? You have to give it a haircut after blocking! That was my favourite part.

It’s a conversation piece, that’s for sure!

    1. Thanks for the link. I looked through all his patterns twice and couldn’t find it. I must be going blind! But then I’ve been up for two days straight so I am a bit cross eyed. You’re a life saver!
