Pink Cloud

Remember that colourway I created for Boo Knits? It was for this amazing pattern – Chasing Rainbows. I chose to knit it in Hedgehog Fibres Kidsilk in colourway ‘Jelly’. (I love it, the pinker the better! And also because the original special limited edition colourway ‘Peek-A-Boo’ was so desperately popular, I didn’t want to snatch even one skein for myself.)

As per usual, my shawls tend to be on the massive side. I knit crazy loose and I also often go up a needle size for lace. I adore the cobwebby, airy feel. This shawl is less than 2 skeins and it’s even pinker in real life.

I love this last picture! We shot it near our studio in Little Island, which is a pretty industrial zone. I was supposed to ‘walk casually’ from there to there… yup, so casual 😀
Boo Knits is my fave lace designer. Her patterns are so gorgeous and effortless looking and not terribly difficult to knit. Check her out!

  1. Totally and utterly delicious! I love it in this wonderfully bold colour and it looks as though it is soft as a cloud to wear. I adore using your yarns and now I think I need one of these in Kidsilk too – I hope you have plenty in the next update – I have a feeling there might be a huge demand!
